Today we went down to the Revolution Lincoln, industry event.

This event is held every Sunday evening and is a great place to relax and unwind with live music. We sent one of our journalists down to have a chat with the event organisers and some of the acts performing, even in this wet weather.

We spoke with Alex Davis who is one of the Revolution employees in charge of running this event. Alex told us that the idea of the industry night is to give people who work in retail and customer service a night where they can relax and have a nice evening. The idea for having live music was an idea thought of by the Lincoln Revolution staff as it was different and not many places have been doing this therefore making it unique.

We also spoke with two of the performers on the night to get an insight into how they got involved with the event and to find out a bit more about their style of music. We spoke to Lauren Rycroft and Ellen Wilson who are regular performers on Revolutions industry night so if you are interested in hearing them perform get yourself down there one Sunday evening.

We asked our journalist what she thought of the event …

“Its a very relaxed and chilled atmosphere. The live music is great and creates a nice background to sit and have a few drinks with your friends.”
